Art Basel Miami Beach Reveals Expansive 2023 Gallery Roster

Art Basel in Miami Beach has announced its roster for the 2023 event, showcasing an unprecedented number of participating exhibitors. This year’s fair will host 290 galleries hailing from 38 different nations, marking a significant increase in representation from both Asian and African galleries. This broadened participation highlights the expanding diversity and international scope of the art world.

Scheduled from December 6 to 9, the fair will feature artists ranging from well-known names to newcomers, providing a stage for a variety of contemporary artistic voices. ‘We are delighted to welcome new galleries and artists, which enhances the dialogue and broadens the artistic offerings available to collectors,’ stated Marc Spiegler, Global Director of Art Basel.

Besides the main gallery sector, the event will include special sections such as Nova, dedicated to showcasing new works, and Positions, which highlights solo projects by up-and-coming artists. These sections aim to foster innovation and spotlight emerging talent within the art community.
