Venice Biennale: A Lively Global Showcase

Venice Biennale: A Lively Global Showcase

After extensive exploration, numerous cups of espresso, an abundance of pasta, and an overwhelming array of art at the Venice Biennale, I have returned to my desk in New York City. It was a historic, politically charged, exhilarating, and emotionally stirring event. Despite some critics’ claims of ‘implosion’ due to boycotts, resignations, and international controversies, the Biennale was vibrantly alive. An exhibition of this international magnitude would be lackluster if it didn’t mirror the world’s challenges and triumphs. The late Koyo Kouoh’s main exhibition, In Minor Keys, achieved just that. Stay tuned for my detailed review.

A highlight of my journey was connecting with many of our readers worldwide. I found tremendous inspiration from the local art workers and activists in Venice, whose bravery and integrity are commendable. A heartfelt salute to them.

Farewell, dear friends, until we meet again.
