The MFA program offers full tuition waivers for all admitted students and awards a $28,500 stipend annually. Additional grants and awards are available to support travel and research costs. The low cost of living in South Bend, Indiana, ensures that the program remains affordable, preventing graduates from incurring significant debt. The three-year, 60-credit course allows students to pursue their interests through independent study with faculty, and provides teaching opportunities in the second and third years.
