111 Works from Canada’s Federal Indigenous Art Collection Are Still Unaccounted For

After an audit identified some of the missing pieces, 111 artworks created by Indigenous artists are still unaccounted for.

The findings add another layer of concern around the management of Canada’s federal Indigenous art collection, which continues to face questions about the whereabouts of these works.

While the audit did locate certain missing items, the remaining artworks have yet to be found.
