Man Arrested in Daytime Theft of 2,500-Year-Old Gold Torque From French Museum

French police arrested a man in connection with the theft of a 2,500-year-old gold torque from the Musée du Pays Châtillonnai in Burgundy.

The object, an ancient gold torque dating back roughly 2,500 years, was taken from the museum in a daylight incident.

Authorities moved to make the arrest after linking the suspect to the theft at the Musée du Pays Châtillonnai.
