UCCA Expands to Guangzhou with New Art Space

Beijing’s Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) has revealed its plans to establish a new location in Guangzhou. This initiative is in collaboration with the OneM Center for Contemporary Art, marking a significant development for the organization.

The upcoming branch will be situated in a specially designed facility within Guangzhou’s vibrant Zhujiang New Town district, an area renowned for its high-end retail outlets and cultural venues. This move underscores UCCA’s dedication to enhancing the visibility and accessibility of contemporary art across China.

The Guangzhou outpost will feature diverse exhibitions and public programs, serving as a platform for artists from both China and around the globe. The center is dedicated to engaging with the local community, aiming to cultivate a more profound appreciation for contemporary art practices.
