During my visit to the New York art fair, I was irresistibly drawn to the three-dimensional artworks on display. The vibrant atmosphere and the dynamic pieces on show compelled me to capture them through sketching.
As I wandered through the fair, my focus continually returned to the sculptures and installations that dotted the venue. Each piece seemed to tell its own story, inviting observation and interpretation.
The challenge of translating the depth and form of these artworks onto paper was both exhilarating and daunting. Yet, it was this very challenge that made the experience incredibly rewarding.
Sketching these three-dimensional works offered a unique opportunity to engage with the art on a more intimate level. Each line and shade in my sketchbook was a testament to the creative energy that filled the fair.
By the end of my visit, my sketchbook was filled with interpretations of the art that had captured my imagination. It was a personal journey through the eclectic world of contemporary art that NADA presented.
