Christie’s London to Offer Final Selection from Sam Josefowitz’s Rembrandt Print Collection

LONDON — Christie’s will present the third and final installment of works from the Sam Josefowitz Collection, one of the most significant private holdings of Rembrandt prints. The sale, scheduled for this December in London, brings together rare impressions that trace the artist’s technical range and experimentation across his printmaking career.

The upcoming auction follows two highly successful sales earlier this year, both of which attracted strong international bidding. The final selection includes several exceptional states and scarce early impressions that are expected to draw interest from museums and dedicated print collectors.

According to Christie’s specialists, Josefowitz spent decades assembling the collection, acquiring notable works that showcase Rembrandt’s mastery of line, shading, and narrative detail. The December sale will conclude the series, marking a significant moment for the Old Masters print market.
