ADAA Art Show to Direct Proceeds to the Whitney Museum

In a significant shift, the ADAA Art Show will now channel its proceeds to benefit the Whitney Museum of American Art, following its departure from a longstanding partnership with Henry Street Settlement. The Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) revealed this decision, marking a new chapter in the event’s history.

The annual Art Show, hosted at the Park Avenue Armory in New York, has been a staple in the city’s art scene since its inception in 1989. Previously, the event supported Henry Street Settlement for over three decades, an organization known for its contributions to social services and the arts in the Lower East Side.

The Whitney Museum, renowned for its dedication to American art from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, plans to utilize the funds to bolster its diverse programs and initiatives. The upcoming edition of the Art Show is slated for February 2027, with participating galleries and exhibits to be unveiled in the near future.
