A version of Salvator Mundi appeared at TEFAF Maastricht, drawing notice because of its resemblance to the record-breaking $450 million painting sold in 2017.
The “de Ganay” Salvator Mundi, dated 1505–1515, is being presented by Agnews Gallery. Its price has not been disclosed, though offers are being invited.
Scholars place the work alongside other versions associated with Leonardo’s workshop. It is regarded as one of the strongest among roughly 20 known copies.
